Talbot Imlay

Lecturer in History at the Université Laval in Québec, Canada

Talbot teaches in the history department at the Université Laval in Québec, Canada. His work focuses on the international and transnational aspects of twentieth century European history. His most recent book is The Practice of Socialist Internationalism: European Socialists and International Politics, 1914-1960, which was published in January 2018 by Oxford University Press.

Talbot is currently working on three projects: a study of Clarence Streit and the Federal Union/Atlantic Union movement in the United States; a study of empire and resource extraction during the Second World War; and a study of the intersections between international politics and minority rights in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
